Part Image As a pioneer in the use of CAx technology for plastics processing, Phillips' expertise in this area is unrivaled. The Company combines technical and creative disciplines to solve manufacturing challenges by integrating the latest in 3D rendering, modeling, and simulation technology. CAD technology expedites the design evaluation and revision processes because it allows the data to be used and reused for creation of stereolithography and FDM models, finite element analysis (FEA), tool design and manufacture, flow simulation analysis, generation of 2D control drawings, and construction of fixtures needed for the decorating and assembly phases of the program. Maximizing CAD usage, utilizing tolerance analysis studies, physical testing, MoldFlow, and relying on Phillips' unique project management and concurrent engineering, we compress the overall product development cycle and ensure optimum part repeatability and quality.

Industrial Design Tools:
  • Alias
  • Ashlar Cobalt
CAD/CAM Tools:
  • CATIA V5
  • PTC – Pro/ENGINEER
  • UGS – NX
