“The Bob Farley Jr. scholarship honors unselfishness. After all, true leadership is the leadership that isn’t seen. It’s the leadership in serving others without recognition. This scholarship is named after a truly uncommon individual: Bob Farley Jr. Bob was an inspiration to all who had the chance to really know him. And the more you got to know him, the more goodness you’d find. Ironically, for someone who lived only 40 years, he always conducted his life from a long-term perspective, never seeking short-term gains. He sacrificed for others to succeed, not himself. Bob’s philosophy was: trust first, selfishness never, and goodness for eternity. This scholarship will be given to someone with the potential to be an unselfish leader like Bob.” – As written by Jay Kirihara, Phillips Plastics Sales Representative
