A Message From Bob Cervenka,
Founder and Chairman of the Board
Phillips Plastics recently won our seventh consecutive "Supplier of theYear" award from John Deere and have achieved other supplier awardsthroughout the year. We are very proud of this recognition.
With early involvement in projects at the concept phase, we are able toutilize all of Phillips' resources and produce high quality parts withexcellent delivery performance. This outstanding performance ultimatelyresults in cost savings for you, our customer, and provides you with acompetitive advantage.
I believe our ability to assist our customers in maintaining acompetitive advantage hinges on the very foundation upon which PhillipsPlastics is built - treating people with respect. Early in the historyof Phillips Plastics Corporation®, I coined the phrase "All People AreImportant," which has set the course for our culture. Our PeopleProcess culture is based on respecting all the people of Phillips andthe work they do.
Complementing the people process culture are good working conditions.Take, for example, our state-of-the-art buildings featuring glasswalls, which I believe encourage cooperation and teamwork. This openenvironment also stimulates Phillips strong belief in communication toour people and between our people.
Our people process culture and state-of-the-art facilities set us apartin the manufacturing world and have helped us become one of the topranked custom injection molders in North America. By researching andinvesting in new technologies and utilizing our engineering skills,Phillips will continue to meet customers demands for quality, service, costs, and time-to-market. Being a technology-driven company, ourcontinued research and investment in new ideas, products, and processdevelopment will ensure our customers receive answers to complexproblems from the most experienced, knowledgeable, and well-trainedwork force in the marketplace.
