Phillips Appoints Matthew Jennings President & Chief Executive Officer
Hudson, WI, April 20, 2011 - Phillips Plastics Corporation (“Phillips”) announced today that Matthew J. Jennings has been named the company’s President & Chief Executive Officer, effective April 25, 2011. Jennings assumes this role from Brad Wucherpfennig, Phillips’ current President & Chief Executive Officer.
Jennings joins Phillips with over 20 years of senior leadership experience, most recently as the President of the North American Medical Division of Teleflex Incorporated, an organization in excess of $500 million in revenue, with 8,000 employees, 12 manufacturing facilities and 2 distribution centers. Prior to his tenure with Teleflex, Matt was the President & CEO of Bioenterprise Corporation, a bioscience business formation and acceleration company, jointly founded with the Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve, and University Hospitals Health Systems in Cleveland, Ohio. Earlier in Matt’s career, he held numerous leadership positions over a twelve-year period with Baxter International and Allegiance Healthcare, in marketing, research and development, international sales, business development and general management operating roles.
