Phillips Plastics Announces $10 Million Dollar Medical Device Manufacturing Expansion
Menomonie, WI – Phillips Plastics Corporation announced today plans to invest $10 million dollars into the company’s medical device manufacturing operations within the next 12 months to accommodate increased business. The expansion will include the addition of approximately 25,000 square feet consisting of a new class 10,000 clean room, an additional tool room and tool storage, raw material storage and improved material handling systems, as well as production offices. It is estimated that the number of people supporting Phillips’ medical campus in Menomonie, Wisconsin will grow from 225 to 300 with this addition.
